This is it! New Website!
Say hello to my little website……
So here we are! A completely new website! How exciting!
The old one did its job. I’m grateful for that. But its time to ramp things up, switch it up, get busy and serious…..and have some fun!
A new brand, a new look, a new outlook, feel and motivation. And I can’t wait!
I have to give some big thanks really for all of this though. It’s a long list really. But wouldn’t be doing this without them and they have been supportive, guiding, good friends, looked out for me all in good measure and this is what it has got to now.
So, firstly, I have to thank Lina and Tom who frankly have slapped me in to shape, have got me doing what I needed to, gave the guiding hand that set me off down a path to where I wanted and needed to be. I thank them a lot, but they deserve it. Special people, special photographers and people I like to consider friends. Thank you!
Next I need to thank another photographer (not helping myself here am I? haha!) mainly for the encouraging words and frankly the push that Lina and Tom initiated to believe in “me” and myself and just BE myself with my photos, my site, my personality. That accolade goes to my good friend and pretty damn awesome photographer himself, Daniel Ackerley-Holmes. A man of my own heart in so many ways, for the words of encouragement and the inspiration, I thank you brother.
Then to those who actually MADE this website happen……ANOTHER pretty awesome photographer…..JonnyMP. This guy I have only “met” once, but what he did for me was a bit of a slap in the face. I won’t go into detail, but his “Develop” for photographers was a tremendous insight into how my business was working, or not working. And he stated in cold hard facts what needed to change. It wasn’t so much I didn’t know, it was putting me on the path on HOW to do it. His insight was invaluable. AND he then recommended me to this lady…….
Sophie Sullivan of Sophie Amelia Designs. What can I say about her? Well, she got me. She got me straight off the bat. We chatted, she asked the right questions, she got in deep with what I wanted to project and she nailed it. Simple as that. First go too! I can’t thank her enough for all that you see on this site. She nailed the branding, she nailed the website. She’s been patient with me, she has gone above and beyond to get the site right and to constantly keep me in the loop. She’s done the lot with humour and encouragement and not an insignificant amount of her own excitement about this project. I think this was something new for her too! Thank you Sophie. The whole experience has been fantastic from start to finish and the end result is pretty damn spectacular. I can’t thank you enough! And I can’t recommend her enough. She’s damn good!
So here we are! I hope everyone likes it. Some small tweaks as I go along no doubt, but this is it. Now, just to fill these blog spaces with stuff…….now, what to write about…..seems like something weird is happening outside…..
